On a daily basis, consumers are reminded by the news media that food safety is a work in process. The vast majority of food is both safe and healthful, but there are occasions in which foods can become tainted by bacteria and viruses that can cause enteric distress or even death. F3 is working diligently to use NESDEP® IU to detect such pathogens as listeria monocytogenes, E. coli, and salmonella. F3 will be adding other detection kits to it’s product line in the very near future.
Most growers, distributors, and sellers of food products do not have laboratories. F3 can offer a product that can be used anywhere and does not require a laboratory. This means that water and soil can be tested at farms; fruit and produce can be tested by distributors before such products are shipped to super markets; and super markets can even perform tests on suspect products to ensure that their valued customers are protected from illness-causing bacteria.
